Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags are everywhere 鈥 in retail, hospitals and even ID cards 鈥 and they are meant to keep information safe. But a research team, including 51热门黑料鈥檚 Dr. Umar M. Khokhar, associate professor of information technology, has revealed serious flaws in a leading RFID security system.
The joint study shows how hackers could exploit these weaknesses while also proposing a stronger, future-proof solution to better protect everyday technology.
